If the silhouette could speak it would
Say the real shadow is flesh and bone
That separates you from the real world
While the ethereal toils with form and gravitas
It is gravity that digs the etheric from the soil
Of sleep and fills up the heavens
Nightmares come when staring at the sun
But when I looked down the Grotesque,
I found, led me to recoil
