I feel like a fish on a hook
because when I take a look
I feel a jerk
and I close my eyes
the eyes that reveal the lies.
I look at a picture on the wall
and I feel that I might fall.
Lies I am told just get old.
Gullible
I know I am
So I will be bold to face the pain
and to break the boxes of lies.
