I am falling,
engulfed in,
an endless darkness.
Someone catch me
be my light
my beam
my shield.
unhook the claws
that deep within
encircle my
beating heart
slowing it
to a dull thud.
How much longer
need I stand?
I am breaking
be there
to catch
the pieces.
Glue me back
together
to be
reborn.
