For days I was lost With relief I found myself- Gained equipoise. Angst, rape, rage and crime These are very troubled times- Seek island within To find a pearl Dive deep into the ocean- Let go of caution. A smile on the lips Unshed tears in the eyes- Mask in its place The peacock’s rain dance At the first monsoon shower- Mirrors nature’s joy. Warm rays of the sun Thaw the chill in my sore heart Who cares for sunburn? Like a giant wheel My moods too swing up and down. Human dilemma Be open to change an open mind flowers Learn from nature Life is a teacher Pain and joy follow each other Look for the rainbow. As lovers eyes meet In unison the hearts beat Silence, eloquent As the Sun shines Sky is filled with light Bid adieu to night Whispering cool breeze Brings a message from the God Can not see, just feel New shoots in the trees Herald arrival of spring Hope soars and takes wings. When you are in doubt Listen to your own instinct- Message is distinct. Life is in moments- Grab it and give it your best U turns not allowed. Pain and ecstasy, The poison and the nectar- Churns impurities . That faraway look Blowing the cigarette smoke- Seasons come and go. Along the highway Mustard flowers in the fields Colour of sunshine. Both Heaven and hell In our mind they dwell. God gave us free will. A blind man can see With an uncanny sixth sense- Inner presence. In twilight years Man has a second childhood But far too many cares To make a mark Don’t blindly follow the herd Leave your own trail I wish I could make My fragmented self whole- Soul’s lonely journey. Barren landscape Women gay and brightly clad- Painting of our lives After the showers Frogs hop and croak in my lawn Music at twilight From place to place I searched for an oasis - Heart is its true base On a busy highway Speeding cars honking away- Nouve riche, unsavvy Opposites attract Works, given space and respect joy in each others life. Baby’s sleeping face Evokes love and tenderness. Mother’s eyes caress As I opened my eyes Espied the moon peek at me- Feel Divine Company.
