Can you remember when
Electricity was not so prevalent?
Some of us cannot imagine
Because it was always evident
In every daily chore we do
Electricity has made its mark
It makes life so much easier
Especially in the throes of dark
And isn’t it just amazing
When people tell about
How electricity changed their lives
For technology was just a sprout?
Because it’s pretty nice
To be able to live in
And Electrical kind of life
Where early know-how begins
And so it was with many families
That saw life both sides
Before and after they had electricity
A much better world to reside!
