Creatures On The Lawn

It started as a very peasant trip Delicious food, wonderful sites But at the end of the day we needed A place in which to spend the night Next morning we had a leisure breakfast One that was just pure bliss It was a great place for us to stay A vacation spot we would truly miss Then out on the lawn where we’d slept I ventured out before saying goodbye There were the strangest creatures there That instantly caught my darting eye What in the world were they? Could they be creatures from outer space? What kind of dwelling had I been sleeping? What a strange but captivating place They were made of medal of some sort One was like a dinosaur, it’s true But the other things, well I wonder How would you feel if they looked at you? There is one thing I certainly know, folks If I had seen them before time for bed I don’t know how well I would have slept I’d probably have stared at the ceiling instead!
