Do You Have A Moment God?

So much there is that is bothering me I really needed to pause To have a chat with God, you see For whatever was the cause. He was always my friend so I felt I could chat any day, any time The subject didn't matter either For He always would find the time. I asked about what He felt could be done To make our world a better place So much is going on, you see At a quick and a damaging pace. Anger had simply manifested itself Through the world in an astonishing way We needed help as mortals do To keep living for another day. I don't feel safe with strangers, God I know that I watch too much TV And hear about the anger out there So intensified is life's message to me. I know You gave us all brains, Lord But folks are using theirs to hurt They are planning something very soon Home terrorists in large dangerous spurts. So help us, Lord, I pray to you It is for our planet that is in jeopardy The sooner You can do this, God Will be best it seems to me!
