Sitting on their horses
Waiting for the sun to rise
They’re young and so expecting
Life is constantly a surprise
The start of a young life
The beginning of a new day
Anxious for tomorrow
And what the world has to say
So it’s nice to take the time
To enjoy a moment or two
Yes, take the time realize
That nature is so true
The colors bring such spirit
That climbs into the soul
Puts precious moments in memory
To look back on and recall
So it’s refreshing for us to see
A young person who is in awe
As she sits upon her horse
To watch an early morning pause!
