I’ve never been in a hail storm But I’ve seen the results of what Those violent storms can do Like a road with an enormous rut Hard balls made of ice they are All sizes and even shapes Damage to everything they hit Like vehicles especially take In certain areas of the country Like Oklahoma, for instance Folks learn to read the skies And sometimes know at a glance When I was in Oklahoma one year And tornados were a possibility I looked at the sky and worried But to John it was plain to see For he knew that the possibility Was not particularly eminent Yes, we have to accept anything Mother Nature decides to send It is fascinating, don’t you think How we have to keep in touch Especially in Oklahoma where They have hail storms and such!
