I love my Hollyhocks so much
I watch them sway in the breeze
Sweet pink both dark and light
I can cut bouquets if I please.
They remind me of crape paper
Remember back in the day?
We could design lovely flowers
Nothing can stay that way.
So I enjoy each little blossom
As they climb those heavy stocks
Each year I look so forward to
My beautiful Hollyhocks.
