People Watching

One of my favorite past times Is to sit along the street At an outside café perhaps With a meal or little treat And just enjoy people watching Seeing young couples and old Holding hands and talking and such Little stories you can see unfold It doesn’t matter where folks live either Whatever is best for you Because folks go about their lives Doing the things they have to do Habits and personalities are different Yes, we know that’s so true What is right for me Isn’t necessarily right for you But still we’re all linked together In so many interesting ways You see it when you observe Just try it one of these days For people watching is fun And it’s amazing what you’ll find Everyone is so different You’ll not see two of a kind!
