All That Matters Is Now

Moments come and go
all that matters is now
fleeting as aeons ago
A glance exchanged
swift melting as snow
what has changed?
A first-kiss-is memorable,
but nothing is eternal
nothing except these passing's
of each other's love, more than needful.
More than wishful
more than baptismal
death is never deceitful
moments come and go
all that matters is now.
