I've Travelled The Longest Way

I've travelled the longest way. To learn the only journey that matters, Counts are the ones within? And that there is no excursion from the truth. And if you want to be saved, Like a ship in a storm from a crashing wave You must always sail and steer by the light of the stars. And the fair winds that have you now, And tomorrow, when the darkness lifts, That same light will bring you home. If the storm you do survives, you will sigh and smile inside. More capable now than a migrating bird Returning home the shortest way By never getting lost, by never migrating from oneself. I've travelled the longest way.
