Lives Lived At A Frantic Pace

The eyes of a robot are not like a hummingbird But they are not that dissimilarly the same Big round ovals the colour of polished jade Reflecting the light of today and tomorrow, With supersonic processing, batting eyelids That does the speed of a flapping honey bee's wing. I favour the hummingbird for plain old Intellectual intelligence: It understands what it needs When it interlinks and downloads from those nectar banks. And did you know they avoid chronic overheating with special 'windows' in their plumage They are unique, living their lives at a frantic pace. With wings that wick away the heat 70 times a second. Don't get me wrong, robots will serve a purpose But if they have such inflated large egos. They need to know their limitations for flight, speed and accurate direction and for that, you cannot beat a male Anna's hummingbird.
