The Four Elements

Water can be calm, flowing balminess or icy tears. Fire is a fierce cocktail of desire, love, and hate. Earth holds our feet firmly on the ground. But she can quickly turn to quicksand. Air whispers sweet nothings or the next hurricanes of despair. There are four goddesses, each with a superpower. A kingdom of their own Integrating gives us hope and faith. At least one will frame our lives without any adverse shadow. Water quenches everybody- Of thirst, which cannot be denied, I'm humbly told. I believe fire is a source of warmth. That can turn any friendship into longing. Alternatively, they tend to burn everything into ashes. The air can smell of thyme and chamomile. Were you to lay down in her divine blissfulness? Earth can be wounded, but it heals beautifully anew. And landscape your dreams with butterflies and buttercups. And anything once traumatic is forgotten forever in her lacy seams. The element's domains in light or shadow Harmonise everything created together. They dance in perfect pitch and balance. They combine into something- Through each of us, that is made complete. That's in keeping with the spring, the melting snow. The tears of joy overflow into oceans. Our days together were like a rainbow, Even before a dissipating cloud could be overthrown.
