Altın Yaprak
King upon the fence,
The blackbird; its hymn of hope
Cocked a sneer to coal-borne skies,
Coached an eye of tears
To take to drying.
A cat surged
From altitude and azimuth unknown,
Scored the view,
Ablating song –
Bird and hope historical notes
Of nature’s ugly symphony –
Lends the eye to dry to cry again.
