(951) A Big Mistake

The morning sun trickles through the shade. Our love takes on a new charade. The pillow beside me is empty still, another day of lies at will. What must a man of betrayal do, When stained by the likes of you. I feel I’m burning up inside, cheated on by my new bride. I quickly wash away the tears, kneel and pray beside my bed. I left my wife of many years, and married you instead. Each and every day I face, I think of the love I left behind. I left a good woman without a trace, of good feelings, I was so unkind. I ask forgiveness from my ex wife with all my heart and soul. I realize now, that our life. was filled with a love, true and whole.
