You are far, far away But your light lights my way A serene iridescence Hung in the distance Above the mountain rim At times, hidden behind eaves Radiance unrivalled in full view Lighting up the travelers' path You are creative burst for the poet A symbol of dread for the superstitious The temple of a lover's heart A fruition of cherished dreams Standing upright among the winking stars You shine as if there's no end Human vision cannot see What worlds of wonder you hold A silver globe of tender light With myriads of mysteries inside You are and will be A subject for deep reflection Beauty's first definition And love's truthful expression.
