Let time just flow
Into the very new,
For life is like a glow
In seasons going through.
Heartbeats for a while
And footsteps that leave,
Life and each style
So momentarily breve.
Heart and its way
Always still going,
Into the coming day
That time is showing.
Future and the past
With its turning wheel,
Time's dust to dust
Ways that you can feel.
Let the years go
As they come through,
Either fast or slow
Each step to renew.
Yesterday was fine
With its many ways,
Today might be sunshine
Or clouds in the grays.
