0 Golden Leaf
What will the new year hold? Will it be better than the old? Forward we step, in a blindfold Wondering what we will behold. As we watch the year unfold, Will there be sorrow untold? Or joy and blessings manifold? We must not fear; we must be bold. We could see trouble and pain, Or happiness may come again. Good sense and reason could prevail, Or is that but a fairy tale?
