I wonder what you're going through
When silence doesn't give a clue
Is it that you're afraid to say?
You think you'd frighten me away?
I don't scare easy; thought you knew
And I am human, just like you.
Perhaps you've had a busy day
Or, time has simply slipped away.
There is one thing I know is true
When you are ready, I'll hear from you,
So until then, I work and play
And wondering thoughts refuse to stay.
