While ordinary people
Are on facebook, wasting time,
Exceptional writers are busy
Honing their craft.
Someday, they'll reap untold renown
And much more than a dime,
While facebook addicts chase fake fame,
Becoming more daft.
No one cares what you ate for lunch today,
But they'll care if you have something of substance to say.
The wordsmith who works in isolation
Wins recognition and acclamation.
