You told your boss the other day
That now you're in a family way
And then you threatened to tell his wife
If he didn't leave her, for you and new life.
You're young and pretty; yes, it's true
Now there's a child to think of, too.
You thought he'd leave his wife for you?
I hate to say, they never do.
So now you're dead, floating in a lake
Because you made a big mistake
And fell for the lies of an older man,
Who only used you to get what he can.
