A Frightened Drake

Here, in Bangladesh, a glazing sky burns,
Long trunk of eucalyptus burns in solitude,
This winter came here as direct as sudden death,
Now running towards picnic.
A blanket of darkness conceals
Something inside its womb;
In your area, a frightened drake
Looking for the Fort Worth Metroplex, alone,
Fidgets and quacks in Grapevine Lake;
Can you hear the sound?
