One thing in life I hope you never discover They're 5 things in life that you won't ever recover, 5 things that you can never undo No matter, how badly you ever want or wish to. A stone will always be remembered after it is thrown Its destruction will also be known, No matter how far the stone was tossed Everyone will remember the lines that it had crossed. You can never un-hear a word after it is said And you can never un-see a word after it is read, You can close your eyes and put your fingers in your ears But, you can never forget the hurt the pain and the tears. You cannot ever forget an occasion after it is missed Especially when it was on your list, That excitement and adventure you chose not to see Now, it is forever held in someone else's memory. You cannot go back to a time after it is gone That past has already been drawn, Now that time that moment is in your rearview mirror Never again, is that time coming any nearer. Sadly, in life there is this the most painful hurt and cost That is regaining a true trust after it is lost, It's hard to believe that one person ever again Especially, after they committed that one unforgettable sin. So, as you live out your life One day you might remember when truth and trust was rife, But, remember the 5 things that you can never reclaim And always remember, who would be the one to blame.
