A Firecracker

I set off a firecracker just for fun Dogs howled, and NRA members from fear grabbed their gun, Dogs then ran away to hide While NRA members from fear strapped a weapon to their side. From fear NRA members quickly paced back and forth As I began to celebrate July the fourth, Then I fired some Roman candles and skyrockets in the air Dogs howled while NRA members said a prayer. Many dogs also howl when there is a thunderstorm To them that's hereditary and the norm, They are just dumb creatures not liking loud noise Running and hiding then becomes their natural poise. I had set off a firecracker And by many they ran and hid as if I were an attacker, They were scared and frightened and felt They all thought I was firing at them. Sadly gun violence have made many Americans frightened and scared It has turned many white haired, And of course the most frightened ones are the gun owners And usually the NRA donors. Here in America people now run and hide for shelter They are frightened helter skelter, Whenever NRA members hear firecrackers go off with a blast They then see their life passing by them real fast.
