In Arlington Cemetery the fallen lie The brave patriotic soldiers under God's sky, They are the patriots serving the brave and the true As they proudly served the red, white and blue. Now for those sitting in the very back row This I think you all should know, Gold Star families don't ever get or are allowed to 'invite' They can't change the rules at Arlington anytime day or night. No-one can push an Arlington worker around It's unlawful to harass or assault on hallow ground, Everyone must follow all the laws and the rules And treat the graves, like very precious jewels. You can't take pics or videos for any campaign ads Not of any brothers, sisters, moms or dads, Gold Star families don't get to 'invite' the rules at Arlington away Not on any given moment or on any given day. No matter who someone is or who they think they are President, Dictator, King or Queen or even a Czar The ground that they stand on is federal and hallow So, show respect by not being vain, foolish or shallow. Arlington is a National Cemetery Where pride and honor and patriotism we must all obey and carry, No one can use or disrespect or insult any of the soldiers that are gone As we can't get to invite our friends to picnic on the White House lawn.
