I have been to Camelot The kingdom that many have sought, And when I got to the top of that rock I then thought about going to a loch. I got home then I felt no worries or stress I then took a bus alone down to Loch Ness, Sadly, I went alone without the promise from Jessie But, there is where I met the beautiful Nessie. Then I explored the great Glen The adventures there I did pen Then while there I visited Urquhart castle Where I saw the Scottish tassel. Then I walked and I walked to a bus stop There I ended up at an old bookshop, There is where I read about a highland cotter And also about a lad named Potter. It became dark as I walked outside all alone Then I heard a quarrel and a moan, There is where I saw Dr Jekyll and then Mister Hyde One had no honor, and one had his pride. I then heard the bagpipes played At a Kirk I saw many worshipping and prayed And then I saw men in their kilts dressed, And Lassies wearing tartan skirts which also impressed. And then when later the moon got high I finally saw Peter Pan fly, And I saw the mischievous children following him Just for a musical whim. I was hungry, so I went out to eat I was served neeps and tatties and haggis as my meat, It was piped in and in a poem it starred As written and spoken by Burns the bard. Then with my mood and environment I came to a truce As I saw in the distance Robert the Bruce And now as I reminisce when I got there At history and wonderment I truly did stare. Randy L. McClave
