Build A Wall

We should have built a wall Very strait and very tall, To keep all strangers and immigrants out The native Americans did scream and shout. Our land then wouldn't had been taken Our lives wouldn't had been forsaken, Over there would had been natures trees Instead of their large cities. Then more and more came in They introduced us to their lying and cheating and sin, And as we now all look over there No longer clean is our water or our air. We should had built a wall to keep out the white man Him and all of his clan, But, now sadly it is much to late As we must live by his laws and his fate. The white man is the one who destroyed this land With the wave of his selfish and controlling hand, Because, of his jealousy and his greed He took whatever he wanted or did need. He murdered and he raped our people While worshipping under his steeple, He then captured and killed our children and our braves While they made others their slaves. We then needed a wall without a door So, into our land his people couldn't pour, But, sadly that wall or door was never built Our forefathers and ancestors now hold the guilt. Now the time here is sad and kind of amusing And also it is very confusing, He now wants to build a wall because he is scared of a stranger Don't he realize yet, that he was that danger. Randy L.
