Destroying Our World

The Earth is a chaotic mess That fact is a certainty all will confess, God is going to destroy the world we all say On any given day. We have polluted the land and water and sky And because of us life did die, In Earth's belly we have dug for oil and for coal Doing it for greed and profit is our goal. We chop all the trees down So, we can build another shopping center near a town, We continually pollute our rivers and creeks and streams Now they are just beautiful in paintings and dreams. The world is already storming Because, we have created global warming And not far over the mountain range We are the true cause of climate change. We always point the evil done is by the Devil And unto that lie we will all revel, And then we swear and pledge and volunteer and cuss But, all the mess is caused by us. Pollution and hate and destruction is everywhere God is coming soon we all do swear, God is going to destroy the world we all frantically admit But, we already beat God to it. Randy L. McClave
