Don't Complain

Don't complain When it floods because of too much rain, And when the whether shifts and it gets to hot It's not what you expected and sought. Don't complain Because, you feel a financial drain, When gas prices rises You will then find no shock or surprises. Don't complain When you see no forward movement or gain, When you can't feed yourself or your family Just like the rest of the working class in the country. Don't complain When the wealthy drink champagne, When tax breaks are given to the millionaires and billionaires And you receive help, no worries or cares. Don't complain When you feel the consequences and the pain, When the police has the immunity to do what ever they want to you And they won't be held accountable for what they do. Don't complain When your child can't use their brain, When there's no school to send them to attend Because, you can't afford a private school in the end. Don't complain When all immigrants they begin to round up and detain, Then to their country the taxpayers send them back Now whose going to pick the fruits and vegetables and place it in a sack. Don't complain When you're sick and there's a great strain, And you can't find or afford proper healthcare So, instead you're told to say a prayer. Don't complain When you and your family are going insane, When your daughter is forced to keep a child From incest or rape and being abused and defiled. Don't complain When a doctor or medical help you can't obtain, When you daughter experiences complications while pregnant And no one feels it's Christian or urgent. Don't complain When overtime pay isn't taxed as spoke in a campaign, Instead you're given days off instead Not what you believed was promised and said. Don't complain When a wannabe dictator does reign, And none of the promises he made he kept So, he lied once more and you've wept. Don't complain When your actions and beliefs you try to explain, Congratulations to you, the stupid and the uneducated Our country and way of life you have devastated. Randy L. McClave
