A man got tired of the asking and the "no's" Even of the silence and its woes, To date one woman he had tried his very best But, he felt like to her he had become an unwanted pest. And like a new day starting with a beautiful dawn, He just got tired, and then he moved on. The man then found someone new to impress She was happy for him and she quickly said, "Yes! ", Years later he and her got married in a minster While the woman that he wanted, had become a spinster. And like all life, each life comes to an end, But, not all hearts are ready to forget or even mend. On judgment day they all went to meet God And to all of the couples, God gave them a smile and a nod, Then the spinster asked God why did she die all alone Especially with all the beauty and the words that she was shown. God said to her, "What was there for me to do? ", You died all alone, because you wanted to. Randy L. McClave
