Earth's Battle

Someday the rivers will all dry up And you will not know the reason why, Only dust will be in your coffee cup Because, the waters have all ran dry. Soon it will be in the dead of winter And the temperature will still be rising, It will as hot as ember or hell's center Then from the worries of heat you'll be advising. The oceans ice will already have all melted Then the ocean will also begin to rise, Mother Nature was again belted As the whales and the marine life all cries. Storms will now be more constant Tornados and hurricanes will be remaining, And we will know and understand from our conscience Mother Nature is now complaining. They will have sucked all the oil until none is left They will mine for materials until there is none to be mined All that will be remain will be a giant cleft An eviction noticed will then be signed. Soon we will all believe in the effects of pollution Many will sadly accept it and not think it strange, Then it will too late for any solution Earth as we know it, has lost to climate change.
