Family Members

Never had any of my family members dodged the draft Never at our dead soldiers did my family ever laugh, My family were always ready to fight or die for people's rights They were ready to take on any enemy at days and night's Never had any family member ever praised or follow a dictator, Never had any of my family members been a traitor. Never were my family members raised as a racist or a bigot They were never raised to be that wicked, Never did they hated immigrants or strangers coming to the USA They were never raised that way. One fact and belief they say and believe which is not a fraud, We were all born equal in the mighty eyes of our Lord God. Never were any of my family members born wealthy or greedy Never did they hated the poor or the needy, And never on their taxes did they refuse to pay their fair share For our country and our citizens they patriotically did care. For the greed of money they never wanted that curse, Because, they put their belief in always helping and supporting first. Never did any of my ancestors supported Benedict Arnold They were proud McClave's, Worix's, Hall's and McDonald, Never did our government or our democracy did they try to overthrow Never were they traitors to bring their country and their family woe.
