Forgive Them

Lord, please forgive the one who did me wrong In my heart for them I still sing a happy song, Though against me they still do happily sin But, honestly God, I would probably help them once again. They have used and hurt me which is sad, but true But, I had loved and I helped them as I should do, For them I once did truly care And when they needed someone, I was always there. Lord, they have constantly and continuously lied Now I know God that they were never on my side, They constantly used and took advantage of who I was Always they said that me they did truly love. When no one was watching, then they were with me Then when they were other eyes, me they couldn't see, Sadly and broken heartedly I still fill the pain In my heart, they left a hurtful stain. Lord, the ones who did me wrong please forgive them Though they still try to make my life sad and grim, Truly only you and them actually and honestly know Why they try to hurt,and why they hate me so. I truly loved them with my soul and all of my heart From them I did not ever want to depart, I was lied to and I was cheated on and constantly used As you also know, I was spiritualy and mentally abused. Lord, please forgive them, as I still pray Please let them sleep peacefully when in their bed they lay, Because of me let them have no worries or nightmares As I ask and I beseech you Lord, in my daily prayers. They know the wrongs that they have done They also know that forgiveness is given through the son, Though they lied and stole and did me bad I pray that one day Lord, they'll find peace and I will be glad.
