Happy Thanksgiving

Up a turkeys butt I won't be shoven Because, there is no Turkey in the oven, So, there is no stuffing for me to eat No dining for me on Turkey meat. A small hen instead is on the rotisserie grill My Holliday dinner I still will fulfill, My broccoli casserole is being cooked And the lobster from Maine won't be overlooked. No family or friends to which with I am to feast Not even a stranger, or a pug at the least, Though since alone I will be having my cuisine Happily I know there are now less dishes for me to clean. I will end the meal with a traditional pumpkin pie But, first whip cream on it I will generously apply, For me this a great day for good living And I wish one and all a very Happy Thanksgiving.
