Hey God!

Hey God! I know that you are real and not a fraud, And I also know that you are always there So, unto you I will always say a prayer. Everyday when I get up l'm trying to do better So, instead of writing you a letter, Unto you I sincerely and happily pray As I try to do better than how I did yesterday. I know that I don't always get things right But, I do honestly try with all of my might, Sometimes, there is sadness and aches As I've made some sad mistakes. Sometimes my mouth is faster than my heart It's not smart, And my emotions are louder than my belief Not knowingly I bring forth grief. God, you truly know my heart indeed Into my body you're the one who planted the seed, I know that I'm not where that I want to be But, l'm also not where I once did see. Help me manage the in-between The many places that I have been at and seen, And wherever that you ever point out I'll keep walking to the place that we talked about. Randy L. McClave
