I Am Very Blessed

I am blessed I have continually confessed, But, not by money or material things Including clothing, watches or rings. I meant by situations that were meant to destroy me, But, I always walked away happily. I am blessed I am happy and unstressed, But, not because of things bought and owned Or because of things borrowed or loaned. Things that were meant to hurt my soul, They made me whole. I am blessed No longer am I depressed, No longer am I scared or worried And no longer do I feel rushed or hurried. My life is a blueprint and a diagram, So, happy I truly am. I am blessed I have many times professed, But, not from anything that I have ever thought But, from what I had sought. When I finally understood for me that he had died, I was then sanctified.
