I Forgave..

I have been wronged, and done wrong But, I still forgave, I am caring and I am strong But, I did it not from weakness, but from being brave. Yes, I have seen and asked for forgiveness Even when it wasn't my fault, Unto God I was a witness Into a wound I will not ever put salt. No more will I live in the pain A life like that no one should ever live, A sentence is never a gain So, I will always forgive. No more could I just walk away Pain and suffering just had to cease, From the strait road I will not again stray Forgiveness is for your own peace. I have been used and I have been hurt I have also been cheated on and lied to, But, my soul did never desert So, again I will say, "I forgive you". Randy L. McClave
