I Rise

I have risen with a song in my heart As a new day is about to start, I am so excited I must say As I still remember my adventures yesterday. Things I have said, things I have done New adventures I have begun, Who knows then what might enter into my life Joy or happiness, or maybe even strife. Everyday is a curiosity And every night become a philosophy, Unto my soul it has permanently mended But, then that day it ended. I wake up to the world once again Again I rise from my den, My heart once again is singing Curious, about what the morning is bringing. Randy L. McClave
