I Wanted To

I wanted to marry you I wanted to say, "I do", To share our life, as husband and wife I wanted to say, "I do". I wanted to say, "I will" I wanted us to have a thrill, You at my side, my truest pride I wanted to say, "I will". I wanted us together I wanted us now and forever, When the times are glad, or even bad I wanted us together. I wanted to say, "I did" I wanted those feelings never hid, Our name, I wanted it the same I wanted to say, "I did". I wanted to say, "yes" I wanted to see you in your wedding dress, When we walked down the isle, with a smile I wanted to say, "yes". Randy L. McClave
