If You Look

If you look for hate, you will find it, Many times it will be nearer Sometimes it will be in your mirror, To find it all you have to do is to submit. Sometimes you can say a prayer, Pretending it's not inside of you But, you can feel it's true, And then you know that it is there, So, why do you care or ever bother, You enjoy to ridicule and hate Maybe, it might be your fate Remember love is a gift by your father Look inside your cup of coffee, Do you see the coffee or the white cream Or do you just see the steam, Are you happy or do you disagree. He that looks for hate will find its appeal, It can be found everywhere that you look Even in your own good book, He would rather hurt than heal. When a man who looks for hatred, He will find it wherever he stands He will see it in others hands, Then unto his children it will spread. Randy L. McClave
