In America

This is America It was founded by immigrants all, People from different lands and countries All with many different religions and beliefs without a wall. Here we drink, tea, water, beer, vodka, soda, sake and wine We speak Spanish, English, Hindi, Mandarin and others, We are vegetarians and we also eat meat Some own Bibles, but many more own guns as their druthers. Here we have the educated and the poorly educated Here we have the brave and we also have the weak, We also have the dreamers, while many are schemers Here we have the scared and some who are just cowards that squeak. Here we have the wealthy and we also have the entitled We have the poor and also the needy, And here we have the hard workers and also the lazy And many complain as they stand beside the wealthy and the greedy. Here we have the soldiers and we have the wannabes We have fighters and we have the protesters, And we have the found and also the lost and the confused While many lie and spread gossip and false rumors and are traitors. Here we have atheists and Christians, Muslims and Hindus Here we are democrats and we are also republicans, We are Black, White, Yellow and Red We are all in the same melting pot, we are Americans.
