Kin

Though our parents are not the same Or we don't share the same father or mother, From another parent you might have came But, remember this, you are still my sister or brother. Even if your mother or your father is not mine Maybe we have a different colored skin, Or we're not from the very same bloodline Remember this, you're still my sibling as we are kin. Though some might say that we are not related Because our blood may not be exact, But, together as brother/sister we are still fated, Remember this, us being siblings is still a fact. No matter what another person might believe Even though being sired by a different misses or mister, To me their words or thoughts will not deceive You are my family, you're my brother/ sister.
