Life With Scottish Tartan

I saw her in a store in the city I fell in love with her, such a pity, She was beautiful and not from my town I then saw a tartan brown. I thought that we were the perfect pair As I gently stroked her golden hair, When we met she was dressed in tartan blue She was very beautiful, and a sexy view. When I looked into her eyes of tartan green I found out that she was truly mean, Never was she truly honest with any pride She had cheated, and also lied. She started arguments when we were in bed Her face then turned a tartan red, In the morning from our bed she was always gone Then I saw a tartan fawn. She always complained to me about her last fellow How he was a coward, colored like a tartan yellow, And how his children needed manners and a good smack Then I saw a tartan black. I shared my house which I hoped to be our home Where away our souls, would never roam, But, that wasn't her life she screamed and did say Then I saw a tartan gray. When from my life she had happily retreated She wore a tartan skirt orange and pleated, Her wish was to go to the tropical islands I instead am heading back to the Scottish tartan highlands. Randy L.
