My Grief

When she died I had only grief It entered my soul like a thief It was all the love that I should had have gave, but couldn't I hid it and I ignored it, which I shouldn't. The unspent love had gathered in the corners of the eyes Which becomes pain, sadness, shame and even lies, It then formed into a lump inside my throat From it the sadness and the regret I can quote. It became the hollered part of my chest Which gave me both tears and stress and no rest, It stayed with me for years and the reason now I know Grief becomes love, with no place to go. Randy L.
