My Last Nap

When I take my very last nap When to life I call it a wrap, I will go peacefully into the night Because, I will have no worries or fright. They'll be no one that I have done wrong to No one I hated who I ever knew, No one who I lied about or did judge And unto no one had I held a grudge. I treated everyone equal to me No matter they're race, gender or country, I will have a very peaceful sleep Not with worries or sadness will I weep. When anyone needed help I was always there Whether it be with a dollar or with care, Though I had been lied to and cheated on Though I have been used and treated as a pawn. I broke no promises as I gave my word Every vow I made God Almighty had heard, No one have I ever used or taken advantage of Because, everyone that I knew I did love. I treated everyone the way that I wanted to be treated Unlike others, no one did I ever lie to or cheated, Now it's to late, I won't receive an apology Now that moment will be in someone else's memory. People about me have most likely sinned and lied So, to get the Devil on their side, But, of course God always knows the truth He's been inside of me since my youth. I will go peacefully with a smile on my face Which no man could ever alter or erase, I will then say goodbye to my friends and my family and my son My reward into heaven I have won. So, as I close my eyes for the very last time In my soul God has forgiven my hate and sin and crime, Now, as I am taking my final rest I am now done with my journey, I have finished my quest.
