Our First Date

Last night was our very first date And I must say that it was great, She wasn't a tease, and I was at ease Not once did I hesitate. We felt comfortable with each other As if though snuggling underneath a warm cover, I cannot explain, but a happiness I did gain She would make the perfect lover. To each other we were open and free It was an honesty at a different degree, Nothing I hid, I unscrewed the lid I let loose of my humility. Last night was a great night on my list As smiling and joking and laughing did persist I thought it couldn't get any better, glad I am not a bettor Later we happily held, and we constantly kissed. Last night then became this morning Without sadness or even a warning, I have a smile on my face, which no one can erase To me it's a new aborning. I feel as though my life is new Ever since I met the lady in blue, It wasn't t just temptation, it was my destination Now I can't wait for our date number two. Randy L. McClave
