I thought that my soul was finally freed But, then I was told to heed, To the words of a very sweet Lassie Who I thought at first was quite sassy. Her name is, Rebecca Reed. I remember her, oh so very well Inside my heart for a while she did dwell, She has that wonderful cunning smile Which seemingly stretched on for a mile. When she grinned, I fell. Some men they run off to the sea For their soul to be released and free, But, I instead took a very long flight I have not the endurance or want for a fight. That was me. I still remember her dazzling looks She is written somewhere in all of my books, Some people seek only inspiration While I sought my own restoration. I use to just seek different cooks. "Someday", is the time that I dearly dread When I won't lead, I must then be led, Dreams and chances would had already came But, I know that I will still remember her name. Even though, I will be forgotten and dead. Some men will either just beg and/ or plead I just want to see her in Scottish tweed, The woman whom I have never met To which my soul feels that it owes a debt. Her name is, Rebecca Reed. Randy L.
