Sun-Shower

Such a beautiful day it is today No one is in, every one is out to play, The sun is out and it is lovely and bright It brings forth warmth and also delight. My wife is happy, so shines the sun A beautiful day for us has just begun, In love and happiness, beauty and warmth are the signs So, of course the sun it shines. I thank God for this beautiful day that he has given As many has said, life is truly worth livin', I feel that God is happy so he gave us this sunrise As he has also given me my wife, my greatest prize. My wife is happy so she prepares our lunch She firsts brings out snacks for us to munch, Nothing is better than having a happy mate Sunshine indeed is a reward for our joyous fate. Then unexpectedly comes a sun-shower I think to myself by whose power, God had given us this beautiful day to enjoy Then I think in the confusion of the rain and sun what is the ploy. We all ran quickly back into my house First ones in was my brother and his spouse, Family peace is always ended with abusiveness and strife Today they say, the Devil is beating his wife. Randy L.
